WHY WE GIVE

Giving makes a difference

Thank you for your generous heart and your commitment to seeing people flourish in their Kingdom calling. Your giving makes a real difference—it fuels ministry here in Holland and around the world.

We believe generosity is an act of worship and stewardship. It’s important to give where you trust that God’s resources are being handled with integrity, guided by accountability, and producing fruit that changes lives. Our prayer is that you’ve experienced those things here at Central.

Together, let’s keep growing in generosity, investing in what matters most, and making an eternal difference.

VISION GOAL

Where does my giving go?

Our Vision Goal is the budget that accounts for all expenses to operate all church ministries. From kids ministry supplies to community groups to Sunday morning services, tithing to the Vision Goal helps Central to continue its daily mission to amplify the hope and life of Jesus to all people. To understand how your giving impacts this mission, please view our audited financials.

VISION GOAL

Your generosity reaches beyond the walls.

At Central, giving has never been just about keeping the lights on—it’s about seeing communities transformed.

2025–26 cents of every dollar given, over the last year, went directly to ministry and mission efforts beyond the walls.

When you give, you’re part of a kingdom movement that reaches beyond buildings and budgets, changing lives and communities with the love of Jesus.

Thank you for being part of that mission

Of every dollar given:

74¢

of every dollar given to ministry within these walls.

Ways to Give

GIVE IN PERSON

You’ll have an opportunity to give in person during worship.

MAIL A CHECK

Mail a check made payable to Central Wesleyan Church to:
446 W. 40th Street
Holland, MI. 49423

DIRECT IRA CONTRIBUTIONS

For those who are 70½, direct IRA distribution may be made to the church. These gifts are sent directly to the church from the custodian of your IRA. Such gifts do not receive giving credit, since they are a direct distribution, but they are not charged as taxable income and they count toward the minimum distribution requirement.

STOCKS & BONDS

Stocks and bonds that have appreciated in value are best to donate directly to the church since you receive giving credit for the full market value of the appreciated securities and avoid capital gains and the cost of selling the securities. We are sorry that government issued bonds do not qualify for this program.

UNIQUE GIVING

Looking for a creative way to give? You can donate non-cash gifts like vehicles, or other assets—email give@watersedge.org or call our business office at 616.392.7083 to learn more.
